I have loved the Saugus Cafe since I was a little kid and ate there with my dad before we would go to work in the morning in the 60s. Keep up the great work. May you stand forever!

Loved this little diner. It was our first time there and we weren't disappointed. The waiters were friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to order. Our waiter was very accommodating to my order as well. It was quiet and clean, and there was plenty of seating inside. I'm not sure how it gets on the weekends as we went during the week.

I had a delicious BLT (PICTURED) My partner had a burger (not pictured) we were not sure if they were open. This cozy diner holds lots of history and excellent customer service, provided to us by Maria. She was very attentive and kind. They have a large menu and a welcoming restaurant. We would recommend them for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We came on a Monday, so there was no wait time for us, and luckily when we arrived it wasn’t so busy, but within no time we noticed this place got busy quickly. Our breakfast orders came in a great wait time. About 15 mins. Our server was very friendly and gave us some background on the restaurant, which we enjoyed knowing some history to this place. The food was very tasteful. The older man that came to our table refilling our coffee cups was very attentive. Enjoyed the feeling of this old vintage dining atmosphere. Recommend this place, and would love visiting again.

A wonderful place to eat. The food is delicious especially the bacon. The employees are very nice and friendly. Our waitress was Brenda. She was great and very patient with my senior crew. It was pleasure talking to her. Highly recommended.

Open since 1886 it is one of, if not the, oldest restaurants in Los Angeles County. We were in the area so we decided to stop in for our first visit. I am sure it has had many iterations over the years but currently it is a diner on one side and another area for the bar, but separated. It has a really homey feel to it and looks like the classic LA diner on the inside. They have a free parking lot attached, but we were able to find a parking spot right out front. Our server was very polite, although it took quite a long time for our food to come out. Aside from the wait time, the food items were very good taste wise. I chose the Country Fried Steak for my breakfast and we also shared a side order of Biscuits and Gravy. The steak was actually very good and very crispy but not overly done. The biscuits were OK but not favorite. I wish they would be more flaky, but I still enjoyed them. We also ordered a side of Pancakes for the table and everybody enjoyed that as well. Overall, a good local country diner and I would recommend if you are in the area.

My family and I really enjoyed this place. It's got that home-y cozy and chill feel that you get from old diners, and their menu is not complicated like with newer restaurants. The food is just what you'd expect from an older diner. It's good and satisfying. We were surprised they got busy around 1030 on a Tuesday, but I guess it's just a fave. The prices are good too even despite the inflation and everything.

I recently learned about this place and wanted to check it out. I stopped in for dinner and found an extensive menu of typical dinner food. The place wasn't busy and service was prompt and friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the food was very good. I definitely have to return for another tasty meal. I highly recommend giving this little piece of California history a try. You won't regret it.

Stopped here to get some breakfast on a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds. Got some yummy pancakes! They were amazing. Great service. Love that this place remains open to keep a little history going in our valley. Just a heads up, bring cash if you dont want to pay a credit card % fee.

After living in Santa Clarita for several years, we finally visited this historic cafe. The 140-year history attracted us, and it did not disappoint. The food was great, the service was excellent, and our kids loved it. Special thanks to Simon for his outstanding service. We had a wonderful experience and will be back again.
